Namco gave a press release for the new Raging Blast game that is in development. It gives us a little bit more information on what the game will entail.
LOS ANGELES, Calif., (June 2, 2009) – Leading video games developer and publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., announced today the highly anticipated fighting title, Dragon Ball®: Raging Blast for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. Featuring the series’ trademark combat battle style, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast will deliver a host of enhanced gameplay features, including completely destructible environments and stunning HD graphics that lend a deeper layer of immersion to the Dragon Ball universe.
Developed by acclaimed game studio SPIKE, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast culls over 70 characters, including transformations, from the Dragon Ball Z tome to battle against each other throughout pivotal moments in the Dragon Ball series. Dragon Ball Z aficionados will be able to relive epic battles as their favorite heroes and villains from the series and also experience alternate universe moments that were left out of the original anime and manga series.
New interactive and destructible environments lend an enhanced layer of intensity to the battle as characters can now take massive damage from being smashed into mountains, buildings and debris during intense battles ensuring epic Dragon Ball Z signature moves are delivered faithfully with devastating results. On top of classic signature moves, characters also benefit from a new “Super Rising” special attack system which allows players to quickly fly upwards throughout massive battle stages, adding a new layer of strategy and tactics to the melee.
“We’re ecstatic to work with such an accomplished studio as SPIKE on a high caliber action packed Dragon Ball game for the next-gen systems,” said Todd Thorston, director of marketing and public relations at NAMCO BANDAI Games America, Inc. “This next evolution in the Dragon Ball video game franchise will deliver more explosive action and a sense of immersive intensity that hasn’t been seen before in the series.”
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system will be available this Fall 2009.
It turns out that a few days ago two new Dragonball games were announced. The first is called Dragonball: Raging Blast and it will be released on the XBox 360 and Playstation 3. The release date is yet unknown. However as you can see below they are taking on a more tradtional cell-shaded look. A departure from what I believed to be the more stunning Dragonball: Burst Limit released last year:
I have "remastered" my original "Vegeta's Pride" music video that I released back in 1999. Nearly 10 years later I decided it was time to give a bit of an upgrade (using higher quality clips) to this popular music video. You can find it in the music video section in Realmedia format or watch it via Youtube.
I mentioned in my last update that the Dragonball trailer is on it's way. Well we now have some pics from the teaser trailer and Piccolo has been revealed! Below is one of the first pictures we have of Piccolo from the Dragonball movie, click on it to go to the dbmovie section and see more!
There were rumors going around that the Dragonball movie might be cancelled and shelved. I avoided posting about it, simply because I needed more solid information. In retrospect I am glad I waited. It turns out that it is not being cancelled, in fact Fox is so excited about what the end movie is looking like that they are touting a sequel already. Also, sounds like we might be getting a trailer soon....Head on over to the Dragonball movie section to read more.
Some new images of the Dragonball movie have become available. It appears as though this is going to be steadily increasing in the coming months. If you would like to view them click on one of the images below to head over to the dbmovie section.
Over at dbthemovie.com, they translated an interview that Jump Magazine had with James Marsters who is playing Piccolo. In it he admits that the chraracter, Piccolo, floats (so expect battles with flying characters) and that the story line in the movie is a bit different than the original. To read more about it, head on over to the dbmovie section.
This year's 21st issue (released on April 21) of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced that a "Jump Super Anime Tour" will visit 10 Japanese cities this fall with new anime specials for Dragon Ball and One Piece. The tour is the eighth project that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the magazine. The magazine also hints that at least one other title will also be animated.
This new special is an original story created by the man himself, Akira Toriyama! This may cause many to speculate that a new Dragonball series is on it's way. I would say this is incredibly doubtful, on occasion Akira Toriyama has been involved in various projects regarding Dragonball.
Update: 7/8/08 - The title is: Dragon Ball: Heya! Son Goku and Friends Return!! (Doragon Boru Ossu! Kaette kita Son Goku to Nakama-tachi!!)
The big tagline across the poster reads, "What is this unknown, powerful enemy!?" and is supposed to be placed after the Buu saga. This is Toriyama's first full length Dragonball feature in over 10 years.

Goku will be using Powerpole in Dragonball movie
A newly discovered picture shows that Goku will be using the Powerpole in the new Dragonball movie. To read more information on this, head to the Dragonball movie section.
For those of you who didn't notice, I opened up two new sections on this site. The first is called Saiyan Forms, in there you will find descriptions of every form of Super Saiyan and more, that the Saiyan race is able to attain.
I also add a Power Levels section. Now, in general I have been opposed to such a section. Early in the Dragonball Z website days, power levels were scattered on every site and were ridiculously made up with little to no consistency. However, we live in a day where Dragonball websites are fewer and far between. So what I have done is attained the best documented Power Levels, as close to being official as I am able to get, for you to review and enjoy.
There are some new scans showing characters from the new Dragonball movie that were released in Roadshow magazine. Definately worth a look. Click on the images to go to the Dragonball Movie section of this site.
If you aren't aware, you will be now. A new Dragonball Z game is coming out called Dragonball Z Burst Limit. It will be on both PS3 and XBox 360. I decided to post the latest trailer for the game as it looks to be shaping up quite well. It is in WMV format and about 20 megs. You can either click on the image to the right or click here.
You may remember Ernie Hudson from the movies Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2, well now you will have another movie to remember him by. Ernie Hudson has now been cast for the Dragonball movie. Read more Here.

Title:
BIG NEWS!!! DRAGONBALL MOVIE IN PRODUCTION!
After years in development, the live-action feature film version of Akira Toriyama's manga and anime classic Dragonball is now in production. 20th Century Fox will release the movie -- referred to as either Dragon Ball Z, Dragonball, or simply DBZ by different publications -- on August 15, 2008. Here's what we know about the highly anticipated feature film thus far:
I have placed 15 old vhs tapes of Dragonball Z on
ebay if anyone is interested, many of them were ones
I used to create some of the music videos that are currently
on my site(En Fuego etc). I have also placed a
couple of dvd's that were duplicates in my collection.
My reserve price is a low .99 cents for both auctions.
I am selling these because I now have a dvd-only
collection.
The message board is updated to a newer version of
PhpBB, thanks to Syaoranofthelight, admin. Also, off
the subject of this site or DragonBall Z, I had an e-mail
from someone asking me the simple question of "I would, however, like to know how you reconcile the notion of a "just
and loving God" and eternal torment...". I decided to give
my response of which I am posting on this site as an
update. Why you ask? Because I love talking about Theology
and Christianity.
The following is the meat of my response e-mail
to that question:
Subject: Re: Challenge - Sat, 9 Jun 2007 9:31 am
<<I hope you don't mind I'd like to add one extra question to the one you gave
that I believe have their root in the same idea. The questions are: If
there is a God, or at least a Good God, why is there so much evil in the
world? and How can a 'just and loving God' send people to hell(eternal
torment)?
If there is a God, or at least a Good God, why
is there so much evil in the world? For this question I will often
try to give the example of a government system, whom, for whatever the reason.
Has decided to remove a persons choice of what religion he can choose. So
imagine a government system where everyone is Forced to be Hindu against their
own will, they have no right to be Athiest, Christian, Mormon, Buddhist, etc. I
then ask, is this evil? The general response is: Yes, because you are taking
away the general freedom of the individual.
The conclusion that I have
come to, is that if God is indeed good, he would allow evil to exist, and
allow his creation to choose it. If God were to give us no option in regard
to good and evil, he would
violate his own character and become evil himself.
The next thought is,
how is this represented in the bible. Starting right away in Genesis, the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil is placed in the garden, it is even pointed
out to Adam and Eve by God himself.
After creating the Garden, God calls
it "good" even though this tree exists in the Garden, which according to
Christian theology, causes so much pain by allowing sin to enter the world. God
says that Adam and Eve may eat of any tree of the garden, except that single
tree. However, he does not take away their control from choosing that tree. The
option for sin/evil is now an option for every man.
How can a
'just and loving God' send people to hell(eternal torment)? This is
probably a better question than the previous one I gave. Many people can
understand why evil exists, but struggle how a Good God can send people to hell
for Eternity for sins that are temporal.
Again, from our perspective,
sins are temporal(temporary), and thus eternal punishment would be completely
and totally unfair to punish eternally what is temporary. But, what if our sins
are not temporal? To understand this we simply have to look at the nature of
God.
God is eternal and transcendent, or beyond the limits of time and
space. Every sin that we commit is against an eternal and transcendent being.
The result of our sins is that they become eternal and transcendent in nature,
needing an equal punishment. My simple act of stealing, while from our
perspective seems short and over with, ends up touching eternity.
Ok, so
now what? So what if our sins touch eternity, why can't he simply forgive them
and move on.
You mentioned that God would need to be "just". Imagine
for a moment, that you stab an individual, steal their wallet and make a
getaway. But you are arrested before getting 10 miles from the scene of the
crime. Thirty days later you go before the District Judge to face your
punishment. But instead of being punished the Judge says, "There will be no
punishment for you, you may leave."
Has justice been done? No,
like the judge who must punish crimes committed against
society to maintain justice, in order
for God to be Just, he must punish the sins that touch the eternal God.
So
what does Christianity teach in regard to all this information? This is the
purpose of Jesus Christ in Christianity. God who is eternal came in the flesh
to take the eternal punishment that was meant for us for all who accept
it (remember, no removing of choice in this matter). So imagine for another
moment that while in that court-system, instead of being told "There will be no
punishment for you", you are told by the judge "The punishment has already been
given and paid in full, this individual may leave". Justice has then been served.

If you read this far, I appreciate you looking at
my response. I also hope you give it some thought, feel
free to e-mail me on this subject as well.
Just wanted to drop you guys a quick line. DragonBall
Z is back on Toonami (Cartoon Network) and I am hoping it will create
some new fans. It will be displayed at 7:00 pm eastern
time on weekdays.
For the first time since 1999, this website now has
an official Image Gallery once again. Currently only
four galleries are available (Gohan, Brolly, Bulma,
Buu, and Goku), You can check it out by click on the
link on the left side of the page. Also after many
years I removed the "Good Guys" and "Bad
Guys" section. I am surprised I did not remove
it sooner, the bios were sub-par and I could never find
time to write new bios. I do not plan on re-adding those
sections, unless there is some demand for it. But with
all of Dragon Ball Z being available in America now,
there is little need.
A friend of mine is selling some of this Dragon Ball
Z cels. If you don't know what they are, I'll tell you.
They are original animation cels used for the construction
of each episode. If you know of someone who is a DBZ
fan, this would most likely make a good gift. A link
is provided below to take you to his site.
I released another Feature Z of the old "Dragon
Ball" movie. Check the link on the side of the
page to view it. In this one the character representing
"Yamcha" has a battle with Goku. Also don't
forget to visit the message board while you are here.
Just thought I'd take a moment to remind you guys
about the message board. For those of you who regularily
come to this site but havent visited the message
board, I'd encourage you to check it out and join
in the good conversation with other DBZ fans.
Also if anyone is curious how long this site has
been around, at the bottom of this page you'll
see a link called "Old News" click on
that, and just go down as far as you can.
So, another clip of the Original Live action Dragonball
Movie is back by popular demand. If you wish to see
Oolong in his live action form...well this is probably
the only place on the net you'll find it, in fact
I can pretty much gaurantee it. To see it click on the
Feature Z section.
