Movie 12

     Movie 12 is about the spirit world which is taken control of by Janemba... or well...more or less Janemba's evil aura. A boy who is job of watching the spirit laundry machine(to clean evil souls) wasnt watching it like he was supposed to and it blows up and an aura posseses him and he turns into Janemba. Goku, who is in martial arts tournament in the spirit world is asked to go see what is wrong when many wierd things begin to happen. On earth everything breaks loose and people come back from the dead. Gohan,Videl,Goten, and Trunks go to stop the rampaging madness that is going on, on earth.

    What an awesome movie this is. It is the reason i got into buying fansubs all together. I had watched this one in realmedia and had to see it in the tape version. I bought my first fansub with movies 11 and 12. I found out 12 was MUCH better then the realmedia version. The realmedia really takes out all the quality and enjoyment out of the movies/episodes.

    I must say this is just plain incredible. My friend recently told me about how this was the first dbz movie to use computers to help in it's animation. This explains why some scenes are just incredible. Not to mention it's just a wierd movie(in a good way) the animators must have either started to run out of ideas for movies are havve got an amazing imagination.

    There is just so many cool scenes. Like Freeza who comes back to life and Gohan takes him out with one punch to the gut. Or Goku going Super Saiya-jin Level 3. Or Goten getting hit with a Golfball    :-)      gotta love that scene. You get to see "Fat Gogeta" when Vegeta does the fusion dance inproperly. That'll give you more than enough laugh's to last the entire movie. And not to mention the INCREDIBLY DONE Gogeta. Talk about awesome. He's a vast improvement over Vegetto.  

    Dont forget about the battle between the devil form Janemba and Goku SS3. The animation is done so well you'll wonder if this is really Dragonball Z. A few things are well....kinda sucky is Goten and Trunks fighting scenes with the returned "Hitler" the animation suddenly becomes extremely poor from what seems like a flawless movie. The lines around characters etc. are just huge thick black lines. Or how somehow Vegeta gets in the exact same condition(hurt wise) in 40 seconds in what took Goku alot alot alot longer. I makes Vegeta seem weak although they were most likely just conserving on time.

    The music is done SPECTACULARILY there is no music when it's not needed and the music comes in just when something cool is happening which adds to the effect 100%. Like during Goku's main fight with Janemba there is almost pure silence besides the sounds of grunts hits etc. Then just as Goku is about to blast Janemba the music comes in and Janemba dematerializes and Goku get his ass kicked bad.

   In the end. Incredible movie, amazing animation, and more and more. Just wish the Gogeta battle would have lasted a little bit longer. Gotta say i loved the ending scene with Goku and Vegeta talking to eachother and saying goodbye.

Gogeta- "I am not Goku or Vegeta. I am the Instrment of your Defeat!"
